When Willow Creek Community Church, one of the nation’s largest and most respected churches wanted to leave their community of 20,000+ people awe-inspired, they brought Harris in to create a special presentation as part of a series titled, “Supernatural.” He brought a story of the miraculous to life through the performance of an illusion, and distinguished the difference between the two.
When Pastor Judd Wilhite needed someone to give a special presentation in his absence for more than 10,000 people at Central Christian in Las Vegas on a special Father’s Day weekend, he called Harris. After watching the livestream, Pastor Judd said, “Harris blows your mind with his illusions and expands your heart with his insight and passion. He’s a powerful speaker who leaves audiences wanting more.”
Harris has filled in for a wide variety of pastors and teachers, including James Groban at Eastlake Church in Chula Vista (San Diego, CA), Pastor Matthew Barnett at Angeles Temple/Dream Center in Los Angeles, CA and so many others in a diverse list of denominations ranging from Southern Baptist to Assembly of God. At a TEDx event hosted by a private, Christian school in Los Angeles, Harris delivered an engaging and creative talk to a packed house. His presentation was about how magic tricks prove that seeing isn’t believing, but that believing is actually seeing, because what we as human beings believe has the power to change what we see.
Harris has been called in to inspire the staff, leadership and volunteers at Saddleback, North Point and countless others. His unique ability to inspire pastors and church teams regularly leads to workshops and repeat main stage presentations at conferences like Catalyst, Exponential, and Johnny Hunt’s Timothy + Barnabas events.
Harris has been invited to perform on some of the largest cruise lines in the world and has received rave reviews from passengers on board Carnival and Royal Caribbean Ships. When cruise directors of private, chartered cruises like Focus on the Family’s Brio Girl’s Getaway Cruise, Family Life Radio’s Love Like You Mean it Cruise, K-Love Radio’s cruises are faced with the unique challenge of finding something unique for their lineup, they turn to Harris for variety. (The last cruise Harris performed on requested an increase of 4 extra standing-room-only shows beyond his original performance schedule due to the demand of passengers.)
For two years in a row, Harris was asked to help re-imagine, co-write and produce the North Atlanta Christmas Festival in partnership with Mt. Pisgah UMC. He has been hired as a creative consultant to help ideate for multiple live events for companies and organizations like Chik-fil-a, IJM, and the North American Mission Board. After Harris’s unforgettable magic and multi-media presentation in 30 cities in partnership with NAMB, he was tasked to create and present the opener for the 2015 Send Conference at Bridgestone Arena for over 10,000 church leaders.
